Director of Wealth Management

How I arrived at RWM:

“In 2007 I decided that I wanted to change careers from food co-ops to finance. I joined a major brokerage firm on January 1, 2008. Being at a big brokerage firm through the financial crisis was the single best learning experience I could have asked for. It truly had a formative impact on my view of this industry. It was clear to me that the future was not in the brokerage world. Meeting Josh and Barry in 2012, then joining them was akin to joining your favorite band.”

Favorite part of the job:

“The people. I read somewhere that if you’re the smartest person in the room that you should leave that room – if that’s the case, I’m not leaving this room anytime soon. That’s true for my coworkers, as well as our clients.”

When I’m Not Working:

“My wife Lori and I live on Long Island with our daughter, Juliana and our son, Owen. At the moment Juliana is busy applying to graduate schools for social work, while Owen is working through 5th grade.  Sometimes I feel like I am a taxi for my son’s sports. Whether it’s football practice, lacrosse tournaments, or his second lacrosse team (that I am assistant coach for), we’re always on the move. We really like to travel together as a family; we’re headed to Costa Rica this year and we’re really looking forward to it.”
