How I arrived at RWM
“My introduction to the RWM Team started with Josh’s blog, “The Reformed Broker” in 2013 and Barry’s “Masters in Business” podcast. The authenticity of what they had to say immediately connected with me, and I’ve been following the whole team since. I had what my wife calls my ‘Jerry McGuire’ moment one day where I wrote a lengthy email directly to Josh about how I was searching for the best path forward for my clients in the profession I loved. Expecting the email to go to his “junk” folder and never be seen, you can imagine my surprise when I received a thoughtful reply from Josh in my inbox. He then proceeded to connect me with Kris Venne for a phone conversation, and here I am.”
Favorite part of the job
“It’s hard work, but taking a person’s financial goals and dreams and turning them into a fully articulated financial plan is incredibly rewarding.”
When I’m Not Working
“My wife Emily and I live in Charlotte, NC with our daughter Brooks and son Ozzie. As a family, we love to visit Fripp Island, SC, while I try to squeeze in as much “old man” ice hockey as I can.”
